TT 6::: Simikot-Guge-Kailash-Limi-Simikot

Trekking from Simikot to Hilsa.
1. Day: Flight Nepalgunj to Simikot. (2910 m) Trek to Dharapuri (2330 m)
2. Day: Trek from Dharapuri to Sallikhola (2830 m) or Yalbang chaur Camp.
3. Day: Trek from Sallikhola to Munchu- Dumkot (2950 m ) Camp.
4. Day: Trek from Munchu - Dumkot nach Sipsip (3900 m)
5. Day: Crossing Nara La (4500 m) descend to Hilsa - lunch in Hilsa
Drive to Purang, Visit of Khojar- gompa on the way.

Tibetpart: .
6. Day Drive to Gurla La – Camp am Lake Rakastal
7 Day Walk from Rakastal to Manasarovar - Drive to Tirthapuri.
8 Day Restday in Tirthapuri. With the possibility
- Kora of Tirthapuri and visit of the Gompa of Padmasambava with the
meditation cave
- and/ or to walk up to a small mountain with excellent view
9 Day: Drive to Tarchen. Afternoon Walk up to Gyandrang Gompa for acclimatising
10. Day. Drive to Tsparang. O/N in Tholing Guest house
11. Day. Visit Tholing Monastery and drive back to Monicer

Kora around Mt.Kailash:
12. Day: Walk to Dirapuk gompa. High camp.
13. Day: Crossing of Dolma La ( 5600m). Camp near Zutrulpuk gompa
14. Day: Walk back to Tarchen. Afternoon drive to Manasarovar. Camp near Gossul
15. Day: Restday on Manasarovar. Possible Visit of Gossul.

Trekking back via Limi to Simikot
16. Day Drive to Purang and Hilsa,
Trek Hilsa – Manipema 4 hours
17. Day Manipema - Thila Khola 6 ½ - hours
18. Day Thila Khola to Halji (oldest village) only 1 ¾ hour, restday
19. Day Halji to Chekjur via Jang village 5 ¼ hours easy
20. Day: Chekjur to Tackchi - Talung Tso, Talung camp 6 hours easy trek,
21. Day: Talung Tso - crossing Nyalu La 4990 m
and down to Chhongsa Khola 6 ½ -7 hours - hard
22. Day: Chhongsa Khola - Dharapuri 7 hours - long day
23. Day: Dharapuri to Simikot 4 hours
24. Day: Flight Simikot. (2910m) to Kathmandu via Nepalgunja.

8. TumkotMuchu 3110 ,, Take part in the Morning Puja in Yalbang Gompa, 5.5 hrs walk to your cam along the Karnali River. Lunch in Gerung pani after, 3 hrs walk.
9. Thado DhungaYari 3860 ,, 7 hrs gradual accent up to your camp. Lunch in Bhyagute pani after 4 hrs walk from Tumkot. View of Mt. Saipal along the way. Cold evening because, camp is located just bellow Narala Pass.
10. Hilsa 3720 ,, 2 hrs accent up to Nara la pass 4600Mts. And 3 hrs decent to Hilsa, Nepal/Tibet border.
11. Purang. Taklakot 3770 Guest house Say good buy to the horsemen and kitchen boys from Simikot, enter into Sera (Tibet) border, visit of Khochar Monastery, and arrive Taklakot at lunchtime by jeep.
12. Gosul GompaManasarowar lake 4430 Camp/Kitchen Check in Chinese Immigration and customs clearance (It may take much longer time than your expectation). 3 hrs drive to your camp via Gurla la
13. Chiu Gompa 4430 Camp 3 hrs walk to Chiu or, 30 minutes jeep drive to your camp. Leisure afternoon in Chiu Gompa, visit of Chiu Monastery and hot spring bath.
14. Thirthapuri Camp 3. hrs drive to Thirtha puri via Darchen.
15. Tirthapuri Camp Visit of the Padma Shambhava caves Monastery, hot spring bath.
16. Tholing Guest house Jeeps drive directly to Tsaparang (Guge Kingdom), Visit Tsaparang in the evening together with the sunset and back to Tholing at Hotel (Recommended Hei-Bei Hotel in Tholing). Group dinner in the Chinese restaurant. Truck should go and camp behind the Chomola Pass to have camp for next day.
17. Chomola Camp Camp Visit of the Red and white monasteries in Tholling, if permitted by the Military and drive back to the Camp.
18. Darchen Camp Drive back to Darchen, try to camp in Tarpoche instead of staying at Guest house in Tarchen, if not possible to make camp in Tarpoche, stay over night at Guest house in Tarchen Group trek up to Gandrong Monastery and trek down to Tarpoche, via Sirlung Monastery, Truck can drive to Tarpoche, to make camp. Over night at camp in Tarpoche, if the PSP allows to make group Cammp in Tarpoche.
19. Deraphuk 4900 Camp Start Kailash Kora, camp at Deraphuk Monastery. After 5. hrs walk. (Tibetain guide is requested to ask the Yakpas to be in Tarpoche in the earliest possible in the morning to start the trek in time and to arrive in Deraphuk in time with the tents and equipments.
20. Deraphuk Rest Day in Deraphuk. (In this case, Yakpas & the Yaks will charge for another extra day, this Charge (Yuan 100 to 150 per Yaks and Yakpas/Yakmen: changeable) should be collected by the group members.
21. Zudulphuk Gompa 3 hrs accent over Dolma la pass and down to the Camp please, arrange the Yakpas, that they should not go so far down to Zudrulphuk Monastery, since the group members are always tired after crossing Dolma la and wants the earlier camp.
22. HorchuManasarowar lake 4430 Finished the Kora, Jeeps will pick up from the ending point of Kora than drive to Manasarowar, Camp at in Horchu
23. Horchu 4430 Walk to Seralung Monastery and gets picked up by Jeeps, back to Camp, Horchu.
24. Zongba 7 hrs drive to New Zongba, Camp at the points of meeting Bramaputra (Zangpo) river, about 2 KM before the Paved street of New Zongba, where the spring water is followed through the Camp.
25. Paigutso Lake 6.5 hrs drive to camp. Camp near Guest House. Bellow Mt. Xisapangma.
26. NyalamZhangmu Nyalam Guest House or, Sherpa hotel in Zhangmu 4 hrs drive to Melarepa cave, Visit of the cave/ Monastery is under renovation. Over night in Zhangmu/Sherpa Hotel. Fare well dinner for Tibetan guide and drivers.
27. Kathmandu 1350 Hotel Vajra on MAP plan Exit Zhangmu border and 5hrs drive back to Kathmandu.
28. Kathmandu 1350 ,, Leisure day or, guided city tour to Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath and Patan
